How it works

One local video, from post to application.

HoodReel is a pilot for shops in the U.S. and Canada. The sample gigs are in Chicago. A shop can type another city, including a Canadian one, when posting.

1. 1

   A shop posts one video

   They name the city, the platform, and either a cash amount or a product trade. Cash offers show the creator amount and the 15% shop fee before saving.

2. 2

   A nearby creator applies

   The creator sends a name, neighborhood, and a TikTok or Instagram link. The application stays in that browser.

3. 3

   You match them by hand

   The first Chicago gigs are introduced personally. Stripe is not connected, so nobody is charged in this pilot.
